Fletcher Method

The Slide Builder Guide

From one page to your finished deck — 25 slides for a VSL, 38 for a webinar, in your theme, from your approved script. One canonical guide for the whole slide system.
The Fletcher Method™ — Customer Engine Academy™

Section 1: Keep This Straight

The slide is just the vehicle. The script is the substance.

Nobody ever bought because of a slide. They buy because of what the slides carry — the 8 Buying Beliefs™, installed in order, in your voice, by your approved script. That's why this system builds words first and slides second, in two separate tools:

Why the builder refuses a draft. If your script isn't approved and saved yet, the Slide Builder sends you back to finish it. A weak script makes weak slides — the gate is protection, not friction.

Section 2: The Two Inputs

The Slide Builder asks for exactly two things. Nothing else.

1. Your approved script file

my-vsl-script.md (from the SCRIPT VSL Builder) or my-workshop-script.md (from the Winning Workshop Builder) — status: approved. This is the one file everything downstream reads.

2. Your theme file

One of six theme files, downloaded from the gallery in this module. The theme carries the look; your script carries the words.

Section 3: Pick One of Six Themes

Each theme is a file that is itself a deck — download it, double-click it, arrow through it, and pick the one that feels like your brand. You only need one.

ThemePersonalityFeels right for
EditorialPremium, print-magazine restraintConsultants, premium services, calm authority
BoldHigh-contrast keynote confidenceBig claims, stage energy, challenger brands
WarmApproachable trusted advisorCoaches, wellness, relationship-first offers
SignalDark, cool and technicalSaaS, dev, data, technical audiences
PrestigeDeep navy and antique goldHigh-ticket, finance, legacy and luxury
FreshBright, energetic, optimisticFitness, lifestyle, younger audiences
Can't decide? Arrow through two finalists side by side and ask one question: "which one would my best customer expect from me?" Then stop deciding — you can swap the theme file later and rebuild in minutes.

Section 4: Make It Yours — Three Brand Paths

1

Have a branding doc?

Upload it alongside your theme. The builder matches your colors and fonts to the theme's layouts — your deck, in your brand, automatically.

2

No doc?

Answer a few simple questions and the builder writes one for you — a small brand file you can reuse everywhere from now on.

3

Neither?

The theme alone looks great. Build now, customize any time later — a rebuild re-skins the same approved words.

Section 5: Project Setup (Two Minutes, Once)

Five files run this whole system, and each one lives where you learn it — you download nothing ahead of time. The setup that makes it all work:

  1. Create a project in your AI — or one folder — named after your offer.
  2. Add each file as the modules hand them to you — the script builders (Modules 5 and 7), the Slide Builder and your theme (this module), the three bonus files (Module 8).
  3. One tool per conversation. Open a fresh chat for each tool, with its file.
  4. Your saved script file is the one thing everything else reads. Guard it: approve it in its builder, then let every other tool read it.
The one mistake: the wrong file in the wrong chat is the only way to break this system. One tool per conversation — each module tells you exactly which file to open.

Section 6: What Comes Out

When you hand the builder your two inputs, here's the whole experience:

If your script changes, rebuild. Price, proof, a sharper headline — update it in the script builder first (so the approved file is the truth), then tell the Slide Builder to rebuild. The deck always follows the script.

Section 7: After the Build

Build the deck Scorecard passModule 9 Image polishModule 10 · optional Record & launch
  1. Run the Scorecard (Module 9) on your script before anyone sees the deck — all eight beliefs installed, in order.
  2. Optional polish: the Image-Slides Guide (Module 10, in your downloads) covers covers, section breaks and story moments.
  3. Then record. A finished deck on your calendar is what makes all of this real — don't let polish delay publishing.

The order is the system

Words approved → deck built → beliefs scored → recorded. Every tool reads the one before it. That's why it works.
